When paid monthly, tuition is the same each month, whether there are 3, 4, or 5 weeks (summer or extended absences are taken into account individually).    Three-week months are balanced by those with five weeks.   Payment is expected at the beginning of the month unless arranged otherwise.  It can be made by any combination of time periods and by any method.  Semester payments (3 months or more) will be credited with a 10% reduction (families taking advantage of the 15% discount will not be eligible).  Bills will be sent out electronically for those who pay monthly if desired.  We take checks, cash, Zelle,* or PayPal.   Please call or write for information about fees.

Missed lessons:  make-up lessons can be scheduled for lessons missed, when notification is given at the latest by the morning of the scheduled time, and if there is a place available.  No make-ups for no-shows or last-minute notice.  Credit will be given only for specific circumstances.  The studio is usually open on Monday holidays.  

A regular practice time should be scheduled, with appropriate parent supervision.  The whole success of the lessons depends on the student’s regular practice.  It is understood that some students may start out on an electronic keyboard, but it is highly recommended that at some point, an acoustic piano be purchased, as the touch is completely different.  There are rental options for pianos available at very reasonable pricing,  (ask me), and I am always available to travel with you to look at a new or used piano to determine its viability.
